White Water Trout Fishing Guide in Fayetteville

Trout are plentiful in the white water of the White River, but in order to catch them, you've got to have the right bait, fishing methods and gear. As anglers, it's important to remember that we are trying to go into the "living room" of the trout and hook them with our infomercial; we're trying to entice them with an irresistible product, so presentation is key. Bugs, minnows and other critters that trout eat flow with the current in a slow and effortless manner. If you move your bait too fast it will not be as effective as a more natural, slower speed. Location is also important, as larger trout usually lie on the edge of the current. Just as we get slower and more lazy when we put on extra weight, so do fish. The larger trout are waiting at the edge of the current on a bug, minnow or other critter to drift into their path.
